First of all, the name "Hard Case" is a little misleading -- this case is rubbery. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but something the consumer should know. The cases are very pretty and snuggly fit the ipod providing good protection.
The screen cover is hard to get on the screen without causing bubbles, and it doesn't seem it would provide much protection so I eventually just took it off. I wish the ijacket had a screen cover built onto the case itself.

Great product. I have no fear of my iPod falling out yet it's easily removed when I need to. The lanyard works, the belt clip works fine. You can't beat the price and the front is unique which is fun. They also include a sceen protector. Mygift was fine, arrived on time.

The order came in exactly as described. The case is rubbery like the previous review has said; it is like a soft plastic, harder than the silicone cases but softer than the polycarbonate cases. The belt clip slides on to the back and is no other way attacked to the case. If used aggressively I fear the clip may break since it is just bent plastic. It is however easy to slid onto a belt loop on my jeans with no fear of breaking. It is difficult (for me impossible) to remove the iPod from the case when the belt clip is on, which is a benefit for use. I have absolutely no worries about the iPod coming out of the case because it is kind of difficult to get it in the first place. The screen protector is easy to put on but must be very careful or you will get bubbles (like mine did) but when the back light is on you don't see them.
You can easily put any kind of headphones in because the bottom is open (with a small nub on each side to better hold the iPod in place. Also there are no issues with charging.
I am unsure if this will fit into an iPod docking station because I do not own one. The cover is beautiful and very easy to work with. The only draw back from it is I have to apply a bit more pressure for the wheel to register, and I must be fairly accurate with my click to change songs or pause. This may change with use; I am already seeing a different in the ease of volume control. Access to the hold button is easy. There is an open top and a bit open on the back to help push the iPod out. One issue is you can not just slide the hold switch like you could if there was no case. The back has no image design on it but is solid white with raised bumps.
The lanyard features a clip so that the iPod can be removed from the lanyard with ease, but the clip is slightly stiff but should because easier with use. Also with the belt clip users can easily wrap the cord to their headphones around for easy storage.
Overall very pleased with the product and extremely happy that it came in 3 days before the estimated delivery date. I would recommend this product to fellow iPod nano second generation users.
