This backpack is in its second year of use by my 2nd grade son. He seems to have a knack for wearing things out very quickly, so the fact that this has lasted more than a year is an impressive feat. It's roomy enough for snowpants and homework, and has separate pockets so the homework doesn't get ruined by snowpants.

We go through back packs rather quickly. For the price this back pack made it through a good portion of the school year. After Several months wear finally started to show and give way to a tare on the bottom of the bag. I would purchase this bag for the price again.

The good thing about this backpack is that it is not too expensive. Although it isn't ultra strong, it definitely is robust for carrying a few things. I can put my 13" Mac-book and a few books in it without any problems. Since I wasn't looking for something that would enable me to carry heavy articles, I think this was a good choice.

Great backpack for the price Feb 12, 2010

I haven't had a backpack since I was a Scout. I went on a trip to SFO and needed something better than a cloth bag with handles. This worked great - I ended up hauling a lot of stuff from the grocery etc and it handled it all.
It's got three zippered pockets: large, medium, and small. The mesh side pockets are too large to comfortably handle a pint water bottle. Construction is adequate. Price was great - $9.99 with free Amazon Prime shipping.
