I didn't even know they had other generations. I bought this one nice case on sale and a great price at the store but it didn't fit because it was 2nd generation. I have had trouble buying a case for my original nano. This one is silicon and there is a place to hook my lanyard earphones to it.

This Silicone 1st/2nd gen Ipod Nano Case is great!Inexpensive and does what it is supposed it do! Perfect! It's lasted me about a year and a half now and I am just now writing the review, oops, but I figured I'd give it props!
